The Feller Theatre Academy
Our Feller Theatre Academy program provides students the opportunity to explore their artistic and creative talents. Each class provides experiences in all elements of stage performance – acting, singing, dancing – while also providing valuable life lessons in communication, teamwork, and self-confidence. Join us for an experience that will have long lasting and potentially life changing impact. You may be surprised how much these programs can inspire, educate, and empower our students! IMPORTANT NOTICE:
We are asking this year that all students audition for spots within our Feller program. Due to lengthy wait lists, we have decided to provide all students with an opportunity to be a part of our programs through the audition process instead of enrollment solely based on a first come, first serve basis.
There is a non-refundable $5 Audition Registration Fee which will be applied towards tuition cost if enrolled in program.

Fall 2023 Feller Programs
A GHOST TALE FOR
MR DICKENS, JR
For students in 2nd – 5th Grade
Mr. Dickens rescues Jack and Annie, and they in turn help him escape the sad memories that haunt him. In the process, they inspire Mr. Dickens to write one of the greatest holiday stories of all time.
Auditions: Sep 22, 2023 @ 4pm
Program Information:
– Oct 11 – Nov 30, 2023
– Classes are Wed & Thur afternoons, 4pm – 6pm
– Two Performances on Dec 6th & 7th, 6:30pm on MainStage
– Includes education in vocals, choreography, acting, and stage direction
– Program Tuition : $240

Spring 2024 Feller Programs
Registration for Auditions will begin in October 2023.
PIRATES PAST NOON, KIDS
For students in 2nd – 5th Grade
Jack and Annie’s tree house takes them to an exotic island with pirates where the two discover the power of friendship and the simple pleasures in everyday life.
Auditions: Jan 13, 2024 @ 10am

– Feb 17 – Apr 13, 2024
– Classes are Wed & Thur afternoons, 4pm – 6pm
– Two Performances on Apr 20th, 11am & 1pm on MainStage

DEAR EDWINA, JR
For students in 6th – 8th Grade
Thirteen-year-old Edwina Spoonapple would do just about anything to be a part of the Kalamazoo Advice- a-Palooza Festival.
Auditions: Jan 13, 2024 @ 4pm
Program Information:
– Feb 24 – Apr 20, 2024
– Classes are Sat mornings, 9am – 1pm
– Two Performances on Apr 27th, 11am & 1pm in Blackbox
– Program Tuition : $240
