Dominic Del Brocco
EXECUTIVE & ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
For over 25 years Dominic has entertained across America. Through performing, directing, coaching, developing talent and leading productions, Dominic has devoted a large portion of his life to Entertainment and the Arts. Originally from Baltimore, Dominic began his career as a performer and went on to spend 13 years working for Walt Disney Entertainment where he delighted guests as a show and parade performer before moving into production, creative and leadership roles.
OFFICE MANAGER & EDUCATION DIRECTOR
Melinda Benya is the Office Manager & Education Director. She attained her Bachelors Degree from The University of Central Florida in English-Creative Writing & Associates Degree in Musical Theatre from Indian River State College. In 2010 she started working for Walt Disney’s Resort in both Operations & Entertainment. For the last five years she has been performing, teaching & house managing at theatres in Brevard county.
PRODUCTION MANAGER & SOUND DESIGNER
Josh Bucklin is the Production Manager & resident Sound Designer. From Central Florida where for over a decade he was immersed in Audio Engineering at multiple venues and coordinated technical crews for several nonprofit organizations. In 2016 he joined the technical team at The Walt Disney Company leading production teams during special events and filled the role as Audio Crew Chief at Finding Nemo the Musical. He also worked as an audio tech for high volume entertainment venues at Universal Studios, Sea World Entertainment, and many others.
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR & LIGHTING DESIGNER
Chad Erickson is the Technical Director and resident Lighting Designer. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Performance from Marymount Manhattan College and a CoC from The New York Conservatory. He has previous theatre technical experience at Disney, Universal Studios, Royal Caribbean, and various performing arts venues.
Michael Duncan is a Production Assistant Intern. He is a recent college graduate from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Theatre, along with minors in business and nonprofit leadership. Michael’s background spans a wide array of skills from administrative and marketing, to performance, and work as a theatre technician. Michael is excited to be a part of theatre in a whole different region of the country.
Master Carpenter & Shop Lead
Marcia “Bean” Smith is the Master Carpenter and Shop Lead at The Henegar Center. She served in the US Army as a Carpenter/Mason and studied theatre at Purdue University in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Bean has worked with many theatres in Ohio, Indiana, Georgia and Florida. She says “While carpentry is my career, theatre is my passion. I am excited to be part of the new development and production team at The Henegar”.
