Dominic Del Brocco
EXECUTIVE & ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

For over 30 years Dominic has entertained across the Nation, through performing, directing, coaching, film, and developing new talent. After Art school, he worked at Walt Disney World Entertainment as a performer and later in Management, Production, Casting & Booking, and other Creative roles. After living and working in Orlando, Los Angeles, and Washington DC, he created his own independent production company “Thank You Places Productions” in which he was a contracted Director for community and regional theatres and led workshops on acting, auditioning and performance. In 2020 Dominic took on the role of Executive and Artistic Director for the Henegar and continues to find great joy in leading this incredible organization.

Melinda Benya
BUSINESS MANAGER

Melinda attained her bachelor’s degree from The University of Central Florida in English-Creative Writing & associate’s degree in musical Theatre from Indian River State College. In 2010 she started working for Walt Disney’s Resort in both Operations & Entertainment. For the last ten years she has been performing, teaching & house managing at theatres in Brevard County. Melinda is looking forward to taking on the management of all marketing and business strategies as The Henegar continues to grow.

Jared Sierra
ASSOCIATE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Jared is a graduate from the University of Central Florida, earning a B.S. Biology Major and Dance Minor. His love for theater began as a child after attending his first live performance, Handel’s Messiah. He later studied at Westport High School for the Performing Arts in Ocala, Florida, while performing at his local community theater, Ocala Civic Theater. Since then, some of his professional credits have included shows and parades at Walt Disney World, Maestro’s Famous Singing Servers in The Villages, and SeaWorld as an animal trainer and performer in their Pets Ahoy show. He is excited to bring his diverse range of experiences to the Melbourne community through his work at The Henegar Center.
Mandy Kerridge
PRODUCTION MANAGER

Having received her training in theater at Kansas State University, Mandy then went on to entertain audiences from Nashville to Vegas, Myrtle Beach to Atlantic City, Reno to Niagara Falls for over 30 years. Her first show here at The Henegar was in 2021 and she is thrilled to be joining the Henegar family as Production Manager.
James Dunn
SHOP FOREMAN

James Dunn is proud to return for his second season as The Shop Foreman at the Henegar Center for the Arts. Holding a degree in Theatrical Design and Technology, James brings a deep passion for costume, scenic, and interior design to every project he undertakes. With a background that bridges both onstage performance and behind-the-scenes craftsmanship, he thrives on creating immersive worlds and experiences that support powerful storytelling. James is honored to be a part of the Henegar family and looks forward to another season of inspiring collaboration and creativity.
Mo’Nique Carey
BOX OFFICE & HOUSE MANAGER

Mo’Nique has been working on and backstage for over 15 years. She is originally from Cocoa Beach, Florida and studied Business and Psychology at Eastern Florida State College before switching her major to Performance Arts to pursue Acting. Besides Acting and volunteering Mo’Nique was also an Administrative Assistant, worked in the medical field and was also a Cheerleading coach. Her first show at the Henegar was in 2014 and she is honored and excited to be joining The Henegar as the new Box Office/Front of House Manager.
Kayla Canada
EDUCATION DIRECTOR

Kayla graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Carolina with a BA in English/Education with Leadership Distinction in Professional and Civic Engagement. She is a double-certified teacher, having taught elementary and high school in Brevard County over the last 7 years, and holds a certification in Theatre Industry Essentials from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Alongside performing, she has been directing children’s theatre since 2018. She is thrilled to combine her passion for the arts and experience as an educator to inspire the Henegar Center’s next generation of performers.
Connor Evans
SCENIC BUILDER

Connor is excited to come to Henegar Center by way of Evermore Park in Utah. After spending three years working as the Assistant Director of Show Design and participating heavily in the community theater scene, he’s excited to return to building indoor stages. Before moving to Utah, Connor graduated from Mars Hill University in North Carolina with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theater Performance. He led the shop team fabricating the sets and props for the productions.
Alicia Freeman
MASTER CARPENTER

Alicia is a recent graduate of Utah Valley University with a BFA in Scenic and Prop Design. They have always enjoyed theatre since a young age and have been involved with many shows including working summers doing carpentry work and assistance Technical Director for Sundance. Alicia excels at learning and adapting to the many nuances that a set may bring to a show.
Nathan Dobson
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Nathan graduated from the Florida Institute of Technology with a BS in Business Administration & Accounting. Originally from Arizona, Nathan has over ten years of technical experience in theatre, festivals, dance events, and corporate events. Over the last several years he has been specializing in stage management, projection design, and graphic design.
Benjamin Benya
HOSPITALITY MANAGER

Ben has been a fly-by-night bartender for over a decade and was previously a Front of House Manager and Bar Manager for the fantastic Playalinda Brewing Company based in Titusville, Florida. Ben loves pairing high-concept cocktails alongside every show at the Henegar Center, creating combinations that often take direct inspiration from the musical source material whilst being appetizing to the masses. Ben has also undertaken enhancement for present and future volunteer staff and crew behind the bar with various bar classes, cocktail tasting sessions, in-depth reviews with select patrons, and supervision of regulatory compliance training.
Kirra Williams
PRODUCTION INTERN

Kirra is a Brevard county local with a passion for the arts. With numerous shows under her belt assisting backstage at The Henegar since 2019 she has now joined the team full-time. She has worked several years as a floral designer. Over the years she has acquired skills in sewing, knitting, embroidering, painting or participating on the technical crew to bring an array of skills to the team at the Henegar.
Brian Rusk
SCENIC SHOP INTERN

Brian is a recent graduate from Union College in Schenectady, New York, where he earned his BA in Theater this past June. Born and raised in Sykesville, Maryland, Brian has had a love of theatre since before he can remember, and is honored to help bring Henegar’s artistic visions to life both on and off the stage.
Julyette Vargas
FELLER ACADEMY INTERN

Originally from New York, she has spent time living in Orlando, where she expanded her creative skill set to include costuming, sewing, wig styling, prop making, and more. She has been active in the performing arts industry for over 14 years. While her primary focus has been on performance, she has also gained valuable experience in stage management and various aspects of backstage production throughout her career. Her enthusiasm for both teaching and learning continues to drive her work. She is passionate about contributing to the creation of the compelling and magical theatrical experiences that the Heneger Center presents.
Meredith Rosado
BOX OFFICE ASSOCCIATE

Meredith Rosado is a proud Cocoa Beach native and an enthusiastic supporter of the theatre scene, bringing a strong background in administrative support and customer service. She is excited to contribute her skills and energy to the Henegar team and is honored to be part of its vibrant artistic mission.
